Performance Coaches

Jaye Sheldon has been an acclaimed  teacher of voice for nearly 20 years.  She is a former faculty member at St. Lawrence University and is currently a  singer, actor and owner of her own private voice studio in St. Petersburg, Florida.  Her students include corporate executives and community leaders as well as singers. They all seek Jaye’s holistic approach to growth as an artist. As a classically trained coloratura soprano, Jaye  has appeared with  Glimmerglass Opera in upstate New York and continues to concertize throughout the U.S.  and Europe.  She is a company member at the Powel Crosley Theatre and serves on the production teams of several other professional theatre companies in Florida.  Jaye holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University and a Master of Music in vocal performance from Syracuse University. Jaye is an associate with Communication Research Enterprises, LLC.

Lillian R. Dunlap, PhD, brings over 30 years of experience as a journalist and professor of communication to the training of print, broadcast ,online and multimedia professionals. She is a former professor at the University of Missouri School of Journalism and current affiliate faculty member at the  Poynter Institute for Media Studies in St Petersburg, FL.  While at Missouri, Lillian developed a one of a kind performance coaching program that has launched the careers of radio and television news reporters and anchors throughout the industry. She continues to work with media and non-media clients using her proven approach to effective vocal delivery. Lillian received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Defiance College. Her master’s and doctorate are from Indiana University-Bloomington.  Lillian is principal and CEO of Communication Research Enterprises, LLC.
